What a family law website costs: three fixed-price sizes
One fee per size, quoted in writing before any work starts. Paid once, no monthly retainer, and the site is registered in your firm's name.

A family law website here costs $2,800, $4,500 or $7,500 US, depending on how many attorneys and matter types the site has to carry. The number I quote is the number on your invoice. Prices are in US dollars; Canadian-dollar figures are on their own page.
Three sizes
Starter
$2,800
A solo or newly opened practice: home page, attorney bio, two or three matter pages, contact page with the intake form.
Grow
$4,500
Two to five attorneys, or several distinct matter types: up to twelve pages, a bio page per attorney, a page per practice area, and staff training.
Complete
$7,500
A practice running more of its front office through the site: booking tied to a calendar, a gated client area, and room for more offices.

What every size includes
- Every page written for you, in plain language, and optimized for search engines
- Built mobile-first, with a way to reach you inside the first screenful
- An intake form that asks the qualifying questions before the call
- A content management system, so you can change hours, fees and bios yourself
- A domain, hosting account and files registered in your firm's name from day one
What is not in the price
Hosting and the domain renew each year, and they are billed separately from the build. I work to a figure of $150 a year for hosting when I compare against a monthly template vendor, and the domain renewal is whatever your registrar charges that year, so check it before you compare.
Ongoing help after launch is a separate conversation. It is not a subscription you sign now.
Fixed price against a monthly fee
At a working figure of $99 a month, a template site costs $3,564 over three years and $5,940 over five. Starter is $2,800 once plus $150 a year for hosting, which comes to $3,250 over three years and $3,550 over five. The full arithmetic, with the vendor prices I checked and a worksheet for your own quote, is in the guide.
How payment works
Every size is a one-time fee. Financing is available if spreading the cost works better for your practice: ask when we talk.
Common questions
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Each size is one price, paid once. Only hosting and the domain renew annually.
Do I own the site when it is done?
Yes. The domain, the hosting account and the logins are in your firm's name from day one.
Can I move up a size later?
Yes. Nothing you paid for the first time is thrown away.
Why are the prices in US dollars?
Engagements are invoiced in US dollars unless we agree otherwise in writing before the work starts. The Canadian-dollar page is an indicative conversion, not a quote.
